Where to Go

Students and guests should use the Gate 5 entrance with students entering through the doors on the right (Grant Thornton VIP entrance) and guests entering via the doors on the left.

Students: Proceed directly down the escalators, then head left for the Expo Center. The Expo Center will be sectioned off by college/school. Please assemble in your appropriate section. When lining up for the processional, masters and certificates candidates line up first, followed by undergraduates. Students are expected to stay through the end of the ceremony, the last graduate is just as important as the first and deserves the same respect and attention.

Guests: Head directly to the arena. Seats are first come, first-served.

Children: Children are welcome to attend the ceremony but are not permitted to join graduates on the arena floor or cross the stage. There are no exceptions to this rule.

» Accessibility and Mobility Concerns

Parking and Travel

There is no charge for parking at the Coliseum, but we strongly suggest allowing extra time for the delay created by a large number of people arriving all at once.

There will be no transportation from the Adelphi campus to the Coliseum.

Island Photography will be taking photographs of all graduates, who will be photographed at three different points. Purchasing photographs is not mandatory. We request that family photographs be taken after the ceremony.
